My Opinion

Atonement is, in my opinion, the best movie of 2007. And it's one of my favorite movies of all time.

Atonement is a deeply moving movie. It's story is very emotional and is told beautifully. A very touching romantic movie with great performances by Keira Knightley, James McAvoy, Romola Garai and Saoirse Ronan. The performance by the 13-year-old Saoirse Ronan is highly remarkable: her performance as the confused, strange teenager Briony Tallis was excellent.

Among Joe Wright's other movies, Pride & Prejudice, was excellent as well, and Hanna was also quite good, but none of them are as moving, as excellent as Atonement. It's a beautifully told movie with a great cast, great music, and a deeply moving story.

4.5 out of 5.
