Plot synopsis

During the maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic, a man and woman, from different social backgrounds, meet and fall in love. ''Titanic'' is a story of love, and has a romantic and tragic story. Most of the story is based on true history, but the main characters, Jack and Rose, are actually imaginary.

''Titanic'' was very successful. It won eleven Oscars, and received many other awards and nominations.

My opinion

I loved this film. It is such a sad, touching movie... The love story of Rose and Jack is very sweet. Fictional and non-fictional elements are combined in the story: Jack and Rose are fictional, which many notable historical figures, notables incidents are present in this film as well. The background of the story is obviously non-fictional yet the main story, the love story between Jack and Rose, is purely fictional.

 One of the best... and one of the saddest movies I've ever seen... ''Titanic'' has an excellent cast, an emotional and beautiful story.
